Wow. It's been FOREVER. lo siento.
So since I've blogged last, a lot has changed! The Lord provided a teaching job!
Back in January, I finally talked to the "hiring specialist" (I've been trying to get a hold of this woman since last June!) and she gave me a mini interview on the phone. She seemed pleased with my interview and sure enough, 2 weeks later I get a call from a principal! I interviewed and got called back that night for a second interview. So I spent all day in the second grade classrooms at this school and by lunch time, they hired me! It was what we had been praying for FOREVER...such a relief.
I started teaching 2nd grade at McFerran Prepatory Academy on February 21st!
I absolutely LOVE my job and feel so blessed to be able to spend my days with the kiddos I have. Not to mention, I have had 2 amazing co-workers who have taken me in and shown me the ropes! I couldn't have survived without them.
It has been such a huge life change that has come with transitioning but now that I'm getting the hang of it, I'm enjoying it a ton and feeling so blessed! I just love having the opportunity to love on these babies everyday. Praying that they feel His love through me!
